Ghee Eye Butter
A wonderful eye rejuvenative
The primary ingredient of this all natural eye butter is Ghee (clarified butter). Lauded in Ayurvedic texts as a moisturizer that penetrates seven layers of skin, ghee is rich in nutrients, fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins. The body’s ability to readily absorb ghee makes it the medium of choice for many Ayurvedic herbal remedies.
The ghee used in my Ghee Eye Butter is made from organic butter derived from grass fed cow’s milk. It has a rich, creamy texture and a gentle sweet smell.
Another ingredient in this rejuvenating eye butter is nourishing coconut oil which has been slow infused with turmeric. Turmeric has wonderful benefits for the skin – most notably – it’s ability to brighten the skin and remove pigmentation. It is very beneficial in brightening the eye area and reducing dark circles.
The coconut oil in which turmeric has been infused is rich in medium-chain fatty acids which is a highly saturated fat. This keeps the delicate eye area well moisturized which prevents fine lines and wrinkles.
